PUKLLAY · A decision laboratory for learning

Learning economics starts with a decision.

Pukllay brings behavioral and experimental economics to teachers and students across Latin America through laboratory games. An open, free and user-friendly platform for rigorous learning from anywhere in the region.

A joint project by LACEA BRAIN, the network of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) promoting knowledge in behavioral and experimental economics across the region, and Tecnológico de Monterrey, through BEER Lab, its laboratory for research and teaching in behavioral and experimental economics.

Learning through experience

From a decision to a classroom discussion.

The game is a starting point for asking questions, examining intuitions and discussing how we make decisions.

  1. Make a decision

Take part in a situation with clear rules and make your own choice.

  2. Observe

Explore the outcomes and compare them with what you expected.

  3. Discuss

Connect the experience to economic concepts through a discussion guided by your teacher.

Economics in action

A space to experiment, compare and learn.

Explore how we share resources, negotiate and respond to incentives. The games connect course concepts with your group’s decisions, in the laboratory, in the classroom or remotely.
